Assalāmu ‘Alaikum wa Rahmatullāhi wa Barakātuh,
We would like to update our community on our ongoing efforts to establish a dedicated CMA centre in Caversham.
Today, CMA participated in an auction for a building on Peppard Road. After careful consideration, we set a maximum bid that reflected the building’s value, the opportunity it presented, and the refurbishment and adaptation costs that would be required. During the auction, another determined bidder significantly exceeded our offer, and unfortunately, we were unsuccessful.
While this was not the outcome we had hoped for, we place our trust in Allah’s perfect wisdom and decree. We remain committed to our vision and will continue to actively seek suitable opportunities as they become available, in shā’ Allāh.
We kindly ask our community to:
- Continue making du‘ā that Allah grants us a suitable home for our community.

- Keep an eye out for any suitable buildings or properties in the Caversham area that CMA could explore, and let us know if you become aware of any opportunities.
